Are the .php files ignored by search engines spiders?
Or are they spidered like .htm pages?
any decent spider should spider through your page regardless of the extention (.php, .htm, .asp, .cfm, .cgi, etc)
Most search engines will spider then unless they contain any arguments i.e. page.php?page=1
We always tend to use the extension .htm or .html for php pages we are promoting. It made some different at one time but now we just do it to be sure.
But plenty of sites still use .php without problem
