Matrix/Matrice database in PHP/MySQL

Hello,

Please help! I am having trouble creating a matrix system with PHP/MySQL. The data will consist of zones and prices but I am stuck on how the database would be constructed and then how the data would be extraced from the database. I imagine the data to be returned as follows, but how would this data be held in the database?

------ZONE1----ZONE2----ZONE3
ZONE1 £10 £20 £30
ZONE2 £20 £10 £20
ZONE3 £30 £20 £10
