Dynamism and Search Engine Spiders

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone can confirm a rumour I've heard circling.

I've been told that any URL with dynamic elements (ie. www.something.com/page.php?do=some_dynamic_action) will be ignored by search engine spiders.

Is this true? Does this mean that if I have a site that has ?PHPSESSID=blah in every URL that the entire site is now going to be ignored by all the search engines???

If this is the case... anyone have any recommendations of a work-around for this?
