Download files outside web directory

Hi,

I'm currently making a download manager, I want my files to be placed outside the web directory (~/WWW/). I want people to be able to download those files, like normal files in the web directory. I've once seen an article descibing how to do so, but I can't find it again.

Any help would be accepted with a huuge smile.

You just need to use an upload form but make sure to check the extension then use move_uploaded_file() to move the file to a dir. under DocumentRoot IF it passed your extension tests.
