Hi, I am completely new to PHP and stuff like that. I am not much of a web developer, but I manage ok,

I am looking for a script to update a tabulated list of statistics. One that ranks players by score and other statistics. So it would need a string to determine the number of players, their names, and their scores. And they will need to be ranked by highest to lowest scores. This needs to be a simple HTML table, with the feilds updatable via webbrowser.

Any ideas?

in order to use PHP you need to start with some basic understanding. i.e. you can't get there from here (without learning something first).

Try a tutorial or two. Here's one that worked for me:

Thank you, that is well understood. However, I am in a bit of a pinch for time, and I was sorting and sifting through the endless hundreds of PHP and CGI programs, and found really nothing that would accomodate my need.

In the long run, I certainly would like to acheive a solid working knowledge of script languages, but I realize that fluencey will need time and practice.
