forms, php and flash

Does anybody have any idea on how to send a form submission to more than one page? I can send the form vars to the php page. But, then it does't load the flash correctly. The way i look at it i'm going to have to send the form vars to the php code and the users to the html page which loads the flash. Unless somebody else has any other ideas. Any suggestions, comments, or questions are welcome.

Well you could just have the form action on your php page, and if everything checks out send the user to another page with the Location: header.

However, why isn\'t the flash loading correctly?

If you just have the PHP form check the variables that are entered, then print out the html/flash page, I would imagine it would work just fine.

Is there some added thing you\'re doing in the code before printing out the page for the user?

if you do a header("Location") then when the flash accesses the same page with the loadVariables() then it too will process the header function. Fine bypass that with an if statement and then when the flash accesses the php the variable is gone.

Hmm...how about this then.

Have an if statement to check if a variable that only the form has is present (if it doesn't have one you can just add a hidden one). If it is present then it's the form, so then you can use the Location header.

If it isn't present you skip over only the Location header, but the rest of the script works as normal.

Would that work?

Turns out that the flash isn't even getting the form vars. Did a Get URL("http://www.mydomain.com/display_vars.php", vars=GET) in frame one to send the forms vars that flash had focus of to the php page just to echo onscreen. And there wern't any. hummm. So the pursuit continues. BTW I know that i could easily do this with DB interaction, but just didn't want to go down that route just yet.
