"Professional PHP Programming" has a good chapter on OOP.

Just a note. What most documentation won't tell you is that classes are an after-thought in PHP. Generally they don't behave like classes in Java or other languages. For me they are a hinderence in PHP.

I think that classes is a terrific thing in PHP especially if you write complicated web applications.

I was writing a few chatrooms and usage of classes simplifies things...
