Talk to the Parrallel Port?

Is it possible for PHP to talk to the server's parallel port, as it would be in a C++ cgi-script????

I have implemented this with C++ and was just wondering if my newly found beloved PHP
can also write to the DATA, STATUS & CONTROL
lines of a systems Parallel Port?

Any responces or clues greately appreciated!
