IMAP functions dont work

Hi I downloaded php_imap.dll but how can
I start it working with php, the php still generates me an
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imap_open()

I am using PWS 4.0 under windows98

What did you try to do to open an email?!!

I'm not using that with PWS so I don't know what to say. Unfortunatelly.

Did you try to look at http://imap.org for a help,.. usualy there's some explanation with the settings. Usaually.

What exactly are you trying to do?
I'm working on a single account / domain mail administration. & you?!!

All I want to do is get php started with imap functions but I getting to think that I need to format my hard drive and reinstall ewerything.
When I get imap and php work then I try work out web based "outlook" client.
