website search.......ASP

hey guys, someone please help me out here....i wanna put a search function on a website using ASP....how do i go about it? anyone knows the coding i can use...🙂

I think youve come to the wrong place. This is a php site. ASP is a dirty word here.

I couldn't agree more. It's a limited & closed application capable to go in tilt for nothing. The IIS should suppossed to be rebooted every day, then it's stoping to work for no reasons....

I have to admit & I feel very ashamed because of that - but I used to use that application too. The second interactive language,... & then I realised that there's such a gelosy between developers... you'll hardly get what you need for free.

Now I'm replacing that with perl & php, & I don't have to reboot things anymore. Coool.

P.S.: Eliza jump to our community now... you'll gonna spend a lot of money for all those things that you can get here for free (by they way they work better, use less resources, and are much more stable & much much faster) & where you can share it with others too.

I gave consideration to ASP, but man oh man... once I realized that it is going to cost me a lot of money I had to go with Linux, Apache, PHP, MySQL... and I never turned back....

But John is right, we don't talk about ASP in here, but you are more then welcome to post any PHP related questions...
