Any feasible way to do this? I can't simply paste into the access database when it is in sheet format and I've also tried the included import feature with no luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

have Excel export in CSV format.. Then use the import wizard in Access. I've done it once, couldn't tell you step by step, but as I remember it was pretty simple.
Exactly like that, save the file from Excel as a csv file and then in access go to File-->Get External Data-->Import. The wizard will help you through the rest
