decode flash swf

recommend the right free downloaded macromedia flash decoder software for me pls.

There is an another way to decode the swf file.
1. Open Macromedia Flash
2. Go to File > Import
3. you can select there the swf file ...
4. Open it ... and try to decode ...

but there is a problem. When you import the swf file, it automatically merge all layers to a single layer. So, it's taugh to decode the action scripts to change the content.

If anyone create the way to decode SWF , let me know ...

Hi!

I know there used to be a flash decoder produced by a guy which allowed to decode - I mean produce the entire flash file including all action scripts ('reverse-engineer')- the swf file. I know it worked for version 4.0. As most developers use 5.0 these days, you should try to search for a new version.

Try keywords like 'swf decoder'.

I hope this helps. If you want, I may be able to find the 4.0 program in my software archives at home (in a few days).

i want a swf decoder too as i accidentially deleted my fla file.....if i can't find a way to revert it back to fla...i have to do all these files again... please anyone help me...thankx

Hi!

I have a decoder for version 4 only. However, there's a legal way to generate it - import your SWF file into the current FLA file.
