Help I got this error: Warning: ImageCreateFromJpeg: No JPEG support in this PHP build
How can I add jpeg support? Do I have to re-install php?
Read the PHP manual pages concerning the GD library. It will tell you all you need to know to install this support. You are going to have to install a few libraries to get it working.
Urgh. I thought as much. Time to download the appropriate packages.
I just checked my server. I have the gd packages installed.
And according to my phpinfo(): GD Support enabled GD Version 1.6.2 or higher PNG Support enabled
????? Any ideas?
install the jpeg library (check the GD site for more info) and compile GD/php to include JPG support.
I went for the upgrade from 4.02 to 4.04 option and made sure I specified that right options at compile time.
It works fine now.
Of course I then found out that post v1.6 of gd doesn't support gif so I had to find a gif to png proggie. 🙂
