event scheduler?

anyone know of any opensource php projects that schedule events?

I'm specifically looking for something that could take several hundred (or thousand) events, a given time length for each and schedule them at multiple sites over multiple days. Ideally, this would include preferences in scheduling inputted by the user.

What do you mean by "schedule events"?

Do you mean a calender application where you can schedule an event like a soccer match?

Or do you mean you want to be able to schedule an event where some script should be executed at a given point in time?

I mean a calendar application that might schedule a whole bunch of soccer matches for you - not something that allows you to schedule them manually.
