Im looking for a method to do a reverse DNS lookup from inside PHP. I could do it via Apache, which I realize is very easy but slow, but I want the option to look it up under certain conditions. IE: I have a set list of IP's that I do not want to lookup, but all unknown IP's will be looked up.
Anyone have some sample code / pointers / general help that can help me out?
