Problem (strange)

Hi!
My web site is: http://192.168.0.71/test.php
My page is displayed ok.

Why if i type http://192.168.0.71/test.php/anything/else/here i can see yet my page correctly?
Why apache doesn't give me a 404 error??
In access.log seems it's all right, ... 192.168.0.71 - - [02/Apr/2001:15:00:06 +0200] "GET /test.php/anything/else/here?=PHPE9568F34-D428-11d2-A769-00AA001ACF42 HTTP/1.1" 200 2974

Can someone explain me what's happening?!
Maybe a misconfigured php.ini? Or some trouble in httpd.conf??

The "test.php" is where the 'file' part of the URL ends. Your webserver knows that *.php is a script and it should send whetever comes after it to the script as parameters.
