fatal error: cannot redeclare function

Hi,

I am using PHP4 on Windows NT.
I have got a include file, which I include from 2 different files.
I get the error message:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare generatearticlehtml() in inc/htmlfunctions.inc.php on line 2

What is the matter? Can anyone help me?

this happens if in one of yer inc files you've already declared that function like so:

file myinc.inc contains
function foobar(){}

file myfile.php contains
include('myinc.inc');
function foobar(){}

use include_once() instead of just plain include()

I used include_once() and it worked.
