Can someone please explain how to make php websites in a way I can understand!

Currently, URLs from my PHP script look like <hostname.com/view.php?incl=article_name>. I would like to be able to change this to something like <hostname.com/view.php/incl/article_name>. How can I do this?

there are tons of tutorials for this at devshed.com and webmonkey.com

also you can refer some good books by wrox publns 'professional php programming' , i think
