Mounting NetWare?

Okay, my school uses NetWare 5 for everything :-( And since they have made a massive investment, they don't want to switch to a *nix or BSD based solution. However, me and a small group of students are being allowed to create a website for our school. We were talking about one idea, that is allowing the users of the system to have web access to their NetWare Drives. With somthing similiar toX-Drive, so our suers could sue the files from home, then upload updated ones from school.

So got a couple questions:
1. IS there a way Authenticate a User/Pass with a Novel NetWare Server?
2. Can you Mount Novel Shares in linux easily?(and quickly)

I am looking for an OpenSource system like X-Drive for File Managment, and was hoping i could just write somthign to use it with Novel, that would save us alot of time.

Anyways, if oyu ahve ideas for our little project please post them.

There is a command, ncpmount, included in some suit of programs to mount Netware resources from Linux (might be *BSD and such too).

There's also a program nwauth to authenticate users, but I'm not sure abuot how it works.

Heyya Chip,
Sounds like you could possibly do with asking them to look at NetWare6. They have introduced a concept, ifolder, where you can access your files from anywhere on the net and use NDS authentication.
