Apache httpd.conf: help config php

Hey, i have apache webserver running on win2000 proff. and i have php running and everything fine with apache. here's the thing:
I want to use php pages (page.php). And i am already using includes with my pages. How do i set up the apache conf file so that it will not only read php files as it is supposed to but also accept includes??

Why not just write the SSI in PHP style?

rafael, what i ended up doing was using a php include. Like so...
<?
include("header.php");
?>
