Lotus Notes Mails via PHP / SMTP

Hi,

i'd like to send a mail with some bgcolor and a background picture. I'm sending out a SMTP Mail which looks great in Outlook. But in Lotus Notes R5 the image is now an attachment and also the html-message.

Does anyone know how to write mails in Notes format so they are understood correctly???

How are you sending the mails?

How are you formatting the text now?

Is the format you are sending them RFC 822 compliant?

I'd presume that if you got the format right, the rest would fall into place, since notes IS designed to work with Internet e-mail.

I receive HTML and rich text via Lotus Notes mail with MIME encoding, so I know what you want is possible. Try some searches with "mail, mime, format, encoding" at the following:
