mail windows98

I have installed PHP in Windows98 (with Apache server) and defined the SMTP and send_from directives in the php.ini, but the mail function does not work and I always receive a server error message.

Perhaps, my php.ini is not properly defined? What is the right way? Is there another things to know about the installation?

What parameters are you using? Might not be PHP setup that's at fault. Post your code, and I will try to help.

Sometimes PHP has problems with mail under windows. Make sure your smtp is set up in your php.ini, and include the headers parameter ("" if necessary). If that doesn't work, as PeterB said, just stick the code up here and we'll poke it around a bit 🙂
