Thanks for the reply.
I would like to have the site be totally dynamically generated. But I'm not a database guru, and am just getting my feet wet with MySql, so I created a hackneyed php solution that calls articles out of a directory- like this:
www.foo.com/directory/page.php3?article=xxxx&menu=1234
This set up is great for bringing up plain text into some templated shells, but it leaves no room for titling, unless I make it "page.php3?article=xxxx&menu=1234&title=titleofarticle
At present the pages are titled with whatever the 'page.php3' template is named which is fine until I need some readable search engine results. Right now they all say the same thing- IE: Article Archive
So basically, I just wanna delimit the article title on the page and place it in the page title. I'll try your solution or some hopeful coding and try to get it to work. This is a temporary solution until I get my MySql powered solution off the ground. Where I can just call articleID= and have the page populate its own results, like title, author, date, related articles, etc.
Again, thanks for the help. Any other hints or help is greatly appreciated. I really like this php community- what a great place to get quality answers.
