Cookie and SSL problem

Hi,
The problem is i m storing some values in cookies But when i revisit the site those are only accessible when i first go through a secure SSL(https) page. If i directly visit the page then it shows empty values and if i go to this page after visiting some secure (https) page then it shows correct values.

Anybody can say a few words about it??

What exactly do you want those cookies to do? If it are cookies in SSL, a normal user can't use them.

Set secure=0 in the setcookie function call. that should make them available to non-ssl viewers.
