Hi all,
I've coded a site using PHP and mySQL for the first time, and have just got a very perplexing problem.
The whole site is database driven, with each news item being held in a mySQL table row. All has been going fine for a week or so now. Today, all of a sudden, none of my INSERT queries work - they just don't execute. Absolutely nothing has changed - not a character of code has changed in over two weeks, and I can do SELECT and UPDATE querys to my hearts content - just not INSERT new records.
All I can think is that there must be a maximum number of rows allowed in the dB - but that seems ridiculous, as there are only 76 rows in the table just now.
Can anybody shed any light on this? Can table size limits be set in mySQL? If they can, how do I find out what it is? How can i change it? This is very urgent, as no updates can be made to the site until this is resolved, and the site is supposed to be updated on a more-or-less hourly basis.
Thanks in advance,
Kerin
