Setting Mysql Connection in ASP

Is it possible to set mysql connection using asp script (DSN). i have tried but it does not work..

Yes it is possible

depends ob what system you are using. I had to do this in windows using DSN.

just goto www.mysql.com ands grab MyODBC, this allows you to setup an DSN connection to mysql

I need the information to connect to mysql database which running on Unix/Linux OS.

I did successfully try to connect to mysql database using DSN connectin on the Win 2000 server OS. When I upload to my web server which running on Unix/Linux then I face problem of getting successfull connection.

Could anyone help me to solve this problem?
