My images do not load, help please...

Dear All!

I have a problem, I have an PHP application. It generates HTML code with some <IMG> tags, which point to images outside of my site.

My problem is -- THOSE IMAGES DON'T LOAD ALL THE TIME! Sometimes images load, sometimes not. If I have a list of those images (let's say, 10 images) on a page, only a few are loaded...

HTML code seem to be okay, if I copy the page into my HDD and load it into IE without web browser, images seem to load fine. I even don't know what to think... Maybe it's Apache configuration issue?

Please tell me if any ideas, I appreciate...

1) this is not PHP related.

2) You should never point to images outside your webspace.
This is often done to save traffic on your own site and make someone else pay for you.

If the images don't load, talk to the owners of the site that you 'steal' the images from.

Sorry vincent, but there are some legitimate companies that offload all their images to a separate image hosting site in an effort to load balance their sites.

If you were a company using a special image hosting service, would you go to a php forum to ask why the images don't show up?

Anyway. I am not trying to make Alexander look like a criminal or anything, just pointing out that he should host his own images, which according to his post solves the problem perfectly.

Vincent, I just need to find out why images are not shown on my page.

I'm not trying to stole anyone's images, I just develop an PHP application that generates HTML code which contain images from other websites, that's how the things go.

Actually, I'm developing an application similar to http://www.hotornot.com and http://www.rankpeople.com. Users visit site, and specify URLs to their pictures.

So, when I list some of their photos on a page, some images do not load, but if I input their URLs manually in browser, they load fine.

Vincent, your answer is rediculous.

I am having the same issue, loading ads from an ad server - some times the images do not load and when they don't if you refresh it works...

Any ideas anyone?

Well where do you THINK the problem is?
The ads server is simply too slow to handle all the requests it is getting. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out...

PS it's wasn't PHP related seven months ago, and it is still not PHP related now.

If you are having trouble with the ads company's html, TALK TO THEM!
