In my guestbook sometimes when people type in an apostrophe ('), it is displayed as: \' on the entries page. That happens only some of the times, not all. Why is this happening?
For example: If I type in
"Wow. It's a great page!"
it would be displayed as
"Wow. It\'s a great page!"
Im using the striptags function, do you think that could be the problem? Does the striptags function change ' and " to \' and \" respectively?
Usually 's are escaped. Try stripslashes()
