I'm new to PHP

I've just started coding in PHP and I'm finding it a bit difficult to start off with. I have it compiling and working fine on my server, I just can't get my head around it. Does anyone have any useful tutorials/links for beginners like myself?

I would really like to learn PHP, but I am finding it a bit of a struggle. Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂

I also started learning php couple of weeks ago. Now I am becoming better and better everyday. All the resourses I've got was from the websites like, www.weberdev.com, webmonkey. Also a good book is required.....

I can recommend "Core PHP Programming" by Leon Atkinson / Prentice Hall. It not only gives a general feel for the language but does a good job splitting it out into the commands used with each database. To start, you only need to learn the commands that will work with the database you might be using and then you can add to your knowledge as you grow.
