I shall hold off most of my commenting on designpipe.com/dev until it's got more in it, the only thing I will say is that you go from one design on the front page to a different one on the contact page, which I personally wouldn't do.
As for mygfc.com, I have a couple of suggestions.
The menu colours (both drop down and quick links) need changing, the black on blue doesn't work, and when you drop down the menu over the quick linkws it all becomes one.
You could do with keeping the quicklinks consistently throughout, rather than having to go back to the home page to access them.
I think you should put the search field a little higher, it seems a bit to close to the edge of the graphic.
I'd also consider a different font.
