Checkboxes for html forms

Hello I am making a customization page for my recent project and I simply check which check boxes are selected and make a cookie with the name of the check box and then "on" if it is checked and "off" if it is'nt.

Unfortunatly I dont know how to check if a check box is checked with php.

I know if you do this...

<input type="checkbox" name="check">

You can access it with
$check

But How do you check if it is checked or not??

just add a value to the tag like so:

<input type="checkbox" name="check" value="1">

then when you check just check if the variable $check is true or false.

You don't nead the value. you can verify if the checkbox is check with function isset($var). simple.
