Can php be installed both as a apache module and as cgi on the same server. If so what options would I use for installing php as cgi? Complete instructions would be helpful. I don't want to overwrite my existing PHP.

i am looking for the same info.
my provider told me that i should compile my own CGI version of php on the user-space (and not use the module version).
but how should i do that?
