I was wondering what the paremeter in setcookie(), "path" does.

Hi Jared,

The path parameter in a cookie states which parts of a domain may access the cookie information.

For example, if you set a cookie with a path parameter of "/forum", you would only be able to call the cookie from the /forum directory (or directories in that branch, such as "/forum/new".

Attempting to access cookie information from another part of the domain will return nothing.
