Uploading files with php?

Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to make an application with php for uploading local files selected by the user(from any pc connected with Internet)to a directory in a server.

Is there a sample code about it?

Hey There ...

Check out the copy command. I'm using it right now for the exact same purpose, and it's working ok. Seems to be designed with smaller files (jpg's and the such) in mind, and a bit flaky at times, but it works.

Also keep an eye on the php.ini for the maximum file size.
