Hello,
I'm a C++ coder, who knows a bit of PHP and quite a bit about HTML.
I want a book that covers (a bit of) the basics AND the advanced stuff. (PHP + MySQL)
What would u recommend? Thanx 🙂
Bram.
I would not recommend any books. Read the archives oif this forum and on devshed that's more than enough info. Also, you should read the manual to get an understanding of what the various MySQL functions actually do. The manual is your friend.
Also the php manual is very easy to go through the basics of php and the lisings of functions for use with mysql is very easy to understand.

Try PHP 4 Bible. It covers everything from the basic to the advanced stuff including MySQL. It also covers the OOP features of PHP.
Thanx guys,
Yeah, I guess you're right. "Just" the web should be enough 😉
cheers,
yepz, stick with the net--its better than any book
