hi,
i m using red hat linux 6.2
i have php configured as apache module.
how can i configure php cgi version.
is it possible to have both php apache and cgi version simultaneously.
wud the cgi version support access to a postgresql database.

To configure PHP as a CGI, do everything as you did for making it an Apache module except leave out the --with-apxs= line. This will cause PHP to be compiled as a CGI.

Yes you can have both running at the same time.

Yes as long as you configure in PostgreSQL support then your CGI version will be able to connect to it.
