Webmail

I'd like to create a webmail system.
I tried good scripts like IMP and OOC, they work fine, but I'd like an option that allows the user to create its own mail accounts (Hotmail style, p.ex.).

Do you know any script that allow me to do this?

hey there's an awesome webmail program called squirrel mail http://www.squirrelmail.org/ it's written in totally php and i think a mysql backend.. i haven't had a chance to really look at it but from their demo they have on the page it seems to have a ton of stuff..

Hi Jay, thanks for your quick reply, but I als ohave tried it. It's a excellent script, but it doesn't allow the users to create it's own account.

Buy the book PROFESSIONAL PHP PROGRAMMING from WROX write by Jesus Castagnetto and friends. There is a chapter that explain how to create your a webmail system. I readed it and after I create a great webmail system.

Try Twig. I am told it has a lot of features, though personally I haven't used it.
