about the search function on this site?

I have posted so many questions that probably could have been answered by searching through the forums, but I find anything more than one word in the forum search displays results not found. Am I missing something or is the search too picky?

I would have to agree with you, Chad.

I've often times wanted to find previous replies of mine in order to answer a similar question (to save from typing it all in again), but rarely do I actually find my post.

I've also noticed that recent posts aren't searchable, at least they don't appear to be shrug

That is one of the only two problems I have with phpbuilder.com...the 2nd being the length of time to load a page. I often times find myself flying around the docs, or at least trying to, but one of the images, probably the banner ad at the top, really slows things down.

I understand the need for banner ads and don't think they should be removed, but I think a faster banner service would definitely be beneficial.

Just another $0.02, bring your daily intake of my opions thus far to $0.04! 🙂

Dude I have the ultimate hack for u if banners are slowing dow your web browsing experience.....I edited my host file with this guys list and blamo....NO (well virtually no) banners load....works great. pass it on!
