Flash and PHP and Database

Hi there!
What I'm wanting to do is this:
I have a flash file that is showing a "room" where you have objects such as tables and chairs that you can move around. The user places the objects in the arrangement they desire and then save that arrangment. I want PHP to collect the positions and items and save them to a database. (This is for office furniture). My question is this...not so much the coding of how to do this (I can figure that out later) But I need to know simply what I need for the flash portion to work and if this is doable with these combinations. Obviously..I already have PHP and a database running...But what do I need for it to talk with the Flash? do I have to have Generator (or Turbine w/PHP support) ? Or can I just use the Ming .dll library? Do I have to have both? What if I want to do this site on a windows server? As you can see I just need help with the technology approach at this point. Since Flash can both accept in variables and post to pages with variable, you only need PHP. On the last frame or where the user says, "I'm done moving my furniture around," post the variables to a php page. Here you can insert them into your database. Then you can redirect them back to the flash or send them somewhere else.

Ok..one question down 🙂 But my last question? Will the Ming module work fine for windows? the Ming website DOES have a module for windows but I noticed it is two versions behind. Would this limit me so much that it would be better to go with PHP Turbine (and pay a bit of money) or should I be able to do the above project fine with just the Ming library for windows? And thanks!
