I have to make a scritp that uploads images on my server.
Of course i want to filter the files that will be uploaded by someone. i don't want they upload other files exept gif or jpg or png.

Which is the best way to know the type of the file with php scripting?

if someone uploads some wrong filetype, you can delete it with unlink() later, after checking.
