Why do I get a warning?

Hi!

I have a form that is posting to itself, after posting I press the back key to go back to the form (cached?) , I get a warning page. Can I somehow avoid this?

I havn't tried posting to another page yet, I'll try it and see if that works better, but I'd rather have it working posting to the same page.

are you using 'POST' as the method for your form?
If so, try 'GET'

GET worked! But it doesn't look too professional to see that long URL in the addressfield. 🙁

After you POST, store the information someplace (database?) and header("location:...") back to your form with the PK/ID to repopulate it

I'm not sure on how this can be achieved, Neuromancer (Case to his friends!) gave some plausible solutions but they seem a little complex for what must be done.
I'm pretty sure there is a simple solution, might I suggest that you post a new thread on 'ugly url's' ? I for one would like to know the answer!

Just remember there is a reason why POST is there, and its not just to piss you off. Get has a maximum request length making it bad for submiting form data.

If you still want to do a GET w/o the URL changing make a single frame 100% by 100% which will hide the URL
