Sorry thats not quite what i had in mind. I wanted it so when the script is activated, it converts the page too text format. For example on the BBC.co.uk page:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/cgi-bin/education/betsie/parser.pl/www.bbc.co.uk/
That converts the BBC.co.uk page from graphical format to text format.
any more help would be greatly appreciated
