html <select> overwritting javascript ..

I have a problem with one Javascript menu I retrieved from the Net. I am using <SELECT> Html boxes in a frame and when opening the JS menu , the screen effect is not passing over the <Select> boxe. Is there a way to force JS overwritting the <SELECT> boxe ?

This is a browser bug, and the only way to do it nice is to move the select box. There is a site which explains the bug in detail, but I can't remember the link...
