PROJECT HELP - Online Test

I got a request to build an Online Test with about 100 questions. I'm not very new to PHP but I have never taken on a project alone. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where I should begin such a project? Are there others who have done something similar that might be able to show me a few things? It's my project and I want to do it but I don't think I can do it without your help!

We've done online GRE/GMAT tests. Check out our demo test on www.hitbullseye.com. This is done in Javascript. We a test on CD done in VB.
