I cannot use session handling functions!

I executed this code on my computer.

session_start();
session_register("counter");
$counter++;
echo $counter;
?>

And I got ...

The php.ini that is installed with PHP on Windows sets the default paths to reflect that of a Linux/Unix machine.. Just edit your php.ini anc change the session.save_path from /tmp to something like c:\windows\temp or whatever you see fit.
