Looking into it at the mo - my tip is to use htaccess redirects - i.e. "RewriteEngine" - which can achieve your desired effect if the destination URL is on the same domain.

Now I just need to find a method to mask non-local URLS ... and no, a frameset is not a solution, just a joke!
