PHP and cron -- lynx not found

I'm using PHP for a cronjob that uses lynx to get some info from a database and mail it to me once a day. PHP is installed as a module, and I won't be able to install it as CGI.

I'm geting a "lynx: not found" error everytime the cronjob runs. There is no problem from the command line. I also replaced the lynx command with a simple ls in the cronfile just to see if it would work, and it did.

What is it about having a lynx command run from a cronjob that makes it not work?

Think thats bad? If I try to run a php from my shell any function call I make generates an error: Example:

check your enviorment settings or use the full path to lynx.

probably when the cron starts it can't find lynx.
You can use variables like:
PATH=$PATH:/usr/bin
in your crontab file

are you sure you compiled php with oci support?

That was it. About 30 seconds after I posted my question (as usual), it dawned on me to use the full path. Thanks for your response.

Absolutely positively sure of it.

It works from the website. Pulls 7 megabyte report files generated from the Oracle database. So it works somehow 🙂

It only gives me that weird error when I'm calling those pages from the shell.

btw, ocilogon is the very first function call of any kind in that script, so I'm thinking none of the functions will work?
