Hi, i've been working on a website for my school (as well as my own php-based site) and i'd proposed a php enabled news system which is something i've done before. Only, the web admin there threw in a twist. You see, they run Novell servers and everything. And she would like it if the teachers could add news (or other things) to their pages with a form. I'm OK with the form and database parts but i want to know can i (with php) go into the novell server and check for the teacher's (or admin's) password and network rights?
