Can someone suggest a complete script/program in PHP (or Perl) for an image gallery?

It's welcome to use MySQL, Apache, etc...

Necessary Supported Features:
Category/Groupings for Photos
Visitor Uploads of Images
Adding Comments to Images

Any suggestions? (Time is of the essence.)

Why not impletent your own, it would be a good start "the article about storing images in database", rest is your imagination. Think ppl do not give away their own scripts.

You can search in freshmeat ( http://www.freshmeat.net ) something like "thumbnail" or "image gallery"
