Problems with cookies and headers.

I know that cookies are suppost to come before the header and in use phpnuke and blazeboard I seem to have no problem until I try to migrate the stuff to our server then I get the following error:

Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/witts-en/public_html/board/include.php:740) in /home/witts-en/public_html/board/include.php on line 333

This seems to be due to a header somehow already sent. Anyways we use Cpanel if thats is any help.

well you are sending something to the browser before the headers. go to line 740 and 333 and look to see if there is anything there that shouldn't be and delete it if there is.

It sounds like your problem is being caused by output buffering (or the lack thereof). To fix it you can either turn on output buffering in php.ini, set the default output handler to "ob_gzhandler" if you're using 4.0.4 or higher (also in php.ini), or use the output buffer functions on a per script basis. PHP's Output Control functions are found at the following link in the manual. HTH.
